This SAL is all about what you want to see on the blog. Each month I ask for suggestions for themes and then put them up to the members of the IHSW Group on FB to vote for their choice. This is what they have chosen:
November - Funny
December - Fancy Finishes
January - Designer for 2022
(a designer you are keen to stitch in the coming year)
Humour is very subjective. What some find hilarious, others find mystifying or even offensive. Funny cross stitch designs tend to fall into two categories - bad puns or snarky comments.
I stitched this humourous take on Star Wars and sent it to Christine as I knew she would appreciate it:
Now it's over to you. All you have to do is make a post on the theme of Funny, mention The People's Choice SAL (you can copy the picture I used at the top of this post and in my side bar) and my blog. Please link up using the URL of the actual blog post, not the home page of your blog. I look forward to seeing what you all post.

Finally, I need your suggestions for the next poll. Anything, no matter how obscure, weird or random will go into the poll. Keep the theme suggestions to a single word or two - so you could have Cats, or Green, or Holidays, or Warmth etc. Really anything which could be illustrated in cross stitch.

Love the punny 12 days of Christmas.
Your little dragons are so cute!!
The dragonlets are great!
My opening comment about humour is almost the same as yours!
Love your Dragonlets, of course, and the idea of a 'turtle' dove. Sometimes it's just the little things which count. :)
What fun , love the Dragon's .
Have a fun Sunday.
Jo: This is so cute and fun, I do like dragons, especially Komodo Dragons.
I have been to the dark side of cookies, ate a whole bag of Oriole cookies was sick for a week.

Lovely and funny dragons. I have to stop looking for shoehorn (near to post Mona Lisa stitching, sure that her smile hides the fact she was biting her lips because of Vinci jokes).
Love the Dragon Dreams ones, they have a great sense of humour!
Such fun (and funny!) finishes, Jo! I always enjoy seeing what stitchers pick for each month's prompt!
