Each month we have to share the projects we want to complete before the End Of The World.
Since 2011 I have chosen a number of projects to focus on that year, starting with my "11 in '11" and increasing to "19 in '19" for this year. You can find the full list here.
This month I stitched on seven of my list, with 2 finishes:
1. Enchanted Alphabet by Lavender & Lace
stitched on 32 count Murano in Tiger Lily from Sparklies
2. Gardens of London by Chatelaine
stitched on 32 count Belfast in Cotton Clouds by Crafty Kitten
6. Nest Egg by Satsuma Street
7. Poinsettia by Ink Circles

February – What do you listen to while stitching?
It will one of a number of things:
1. Other people chatting if I'm at coffee morning
2. Planet Rock on the radio
3. FlossTube (if I'm alone) or Good Mythical Morning (if the Large Boy is at home)
4. Telltales sounds of the Small Boy getting up to mischief!

Let's talk about FlossTube though as it's the most stitchy related. I follow a number of FlossTubers now and have several favourites. Is it fair to pick out a couple? Probably not! Let's just say that three of my favourites are bloggers as well as YouTubers. I think there's something about knowing the person blogs as well as makes videos which makes me feel we have more in common.
This afternoon I was listening to Stitching Noni, so here's a link to her latest video.
Finally, I'm slowly updating the Happy Dance blog. When Photobucket wanted to charge us all to use their service they removed access to all our photos but then realised they weren't allowed to do that and put them back but with a nasty Photobucket watermark on. So I am gradually working through older blog entries and my Happy Dance blog to replace them all. It's not a fun task but it is nice to look at some older finishes!
I will have to go watch stitching Noni! I need to go edit my blog as I forgot to say what I listen to. Silly me!
ReplyDeleteLovely stitching as always :D
ReplyDeleteThat darned Photobucket really urked me when I came across the no access thing. I deleted all my photos from there and went to imgur. It's easy there and they won't try and charge you or keep you from your photos!
Alice is such a pretty finish.
ReplyDeleteGreat work on everything. It all looks great. I just can't get into flosstube. That's okay it's not like I don't have enough to do with my time already.
ReplyDeleteGreat finishes and love all of your projects Jo.

Lovely projects Jo! Congrats on your Alice finish and your Chat looks amazing on the hand dyed fabric. Happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteAll the stitching is looking good and you are making really nice progress on several of them. I love the colors in the little spring piece. I listen to floss tube when my DH has things on TV I do not really like. That gives me several slots each week! He is a big tv watcher!!
ReplyDeleteGreat progress of your lovely stitching .
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week.
I spot a tiny bit of a yellow theme this month with your progress on your two BAPs and the fabric for Nest Egg. Congrats on the two finishes too.
ReplyDeleteThat must be such a palaver going back through your past posts to change the photos, but well worth it in the end and, like you said, it's a lovely trip down memory lane. :)
Great colors on the Discworld Mappe and Alice looks so lovely. Nice progress on February. xxx
ReplyDeleteThey all look great!
ReplyDeleteI love Planet Rock, but it disappears somewhere around Taunton, so we only listen to it in the car when we're up country
I love your projects.
ReplyDeleteI love your Nest Egg piece. Congrats on two finishes this month.
ReplyDeleteGreat stitching Jo. You always accomplish so much. Now that happy dance project sounds like a lot of work. I hope it goes well for you. RJ@stitchingfriendsforever
ReplyDeleteYou've made great progress on the map and the goose and I love the colours on the Summer Typography...so many lovely things to look at!
