All you need to do is visit each of the following blogs in order, jot down the letter displayed with their Hallowe'en stitched picture then return here and leave a comment telling me the Mystery Phrase.

Not really - we had stuffed peppers, but I did cut little jack o' lantern faces into them

You never cease to amaze me. I love participating in your wonderful blog hops. The phrase is "Fillet of a Fenny Snake". Which I had to look up. So much fun. I had heard of it before and didn't remember. I really enjoyed participating in this great hop.

ReplyDeleteHere I am with : Fillet of a fenny snake. I first find snake then a fenny (alone!). Struggling with fill or let of. Thanks to internet fillet was the right word and shame on DD2 who is visiting us, big HP fan didn't recognize the recipe. Thanks for the blog hop. xxx

HI Jo, I have the phrase and I am pretty sure it is right this time! "Fillet of a Fenny Snake" from Macbeth Act IV, scene 1. Yay!
ReplyDeleteThanks for arranging the blog hop. It took me a while to figure out what the letters meant! I think the phrase is: fillet of a fenny snake. I even had to look up fenny snake to make sure it existed as I didn't recall hearing it before the hop. x
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of saying that I don't want to take part in the giveaway because I had won one of the gifts last year but I so enjoyed stitching the Halloween Happiness all year long that I admit I'd love to stitch more of Halloween in the year to come, too. ReplyDeleteSo here is the phrase. I couldn't believe what it meant as I found it so difficult to figure out myself.It is Fillet of a fenny snake. I really didn't know what fenny means!LOL!
Anyway I loved all this so hope you will organise it again.

ReplyDeleteAs for the phrase, it's totally "Roasted tail of a llama" this year. That would totally make a cauldron boil and bubble and cause the llama quite a bit of trouble.
Just in case that's not quite right, my second guess is "Fillet of a fenny snake". Would love to be counted in the drawing!
