Finally, Measi always gives us a topic to discuss:
July - Which of your current WIPs do you consider your most difficult piece to stitch?It's got to be my Chatelaine! Gardens of London is absolutely glorious but you have to pay very close attention to the chart and the key. There are so many different speciality stitches and fibres, silks and metallics. Not to mention the beads!
Here's the portion I worked on most recently. You can really see all the details and intricate stitches here. But it's totally worth all the time spent on it.

Your Chatelaine is a real piece of art, I can see how it would be tricky to stitch at times!
To get that final amazing look the Chatelaine must certainly need all your attention. But I'm always impressed by how you can stitch some big patterns like portraits without edging lines, progressing with cross stitches on the fabric into the unknown univers of the stitching! That sounds a little weird but I really would felt lost. xxx
