Hosted by Rachel the Ten Hour Stitcher
This new SAL is designed to motivate us all to do something with that box of Finishes pieces instead of just storing them under the bed. We will all be linking up on Rachel's blog on or after the 10th of each month (10 Hour Stitcher - 10th of the month).
Once again, I have been focusing on my scrapbooking. You're going to see a LOT of scrapbook finishes for this SAL over the year! I had the Christmas Ornament from February and some Just Nan smalls which were waiting for the perfect paper.
Ink Circles Poinsettia from Just Cross Stitch 2008
Just Nan Noah's Rainbow
I splashed out and bought the official charm for this one!
Just Nan Butterfly Bouquet
Just Nan Butterfly Rose
Just Nan Thanks a Bunch
That was a satisfying way to spend an afternoon; cutting and sticking. I do enjoy going through my papers and finding the right background for each piece. By February all the calendars at work have been reduced to 75% off so that is the perfect time to grab a bargain, 12 pages for only £2.50. You may recognise the artwork of Monet for several of my Just Nan designs.

Finally, Easter is rather late this year but I will be running my usual Easter Blog Hop where we all Hop around like Easter Bunnies to find the mystery phrase. Supply your own chocolate! I will be doing a sign-up post soon with full details of the Hopping fun.
Love the way you finish these Jo. Great paper choices.

Love the projects...wonderful... Easter Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteSo many lovely Just Nan designs ,love them all , and the way you have displayed them .
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining in and ensuring there are now less UFOs stashed away under your bed!
ReplyDeleteAll of your Just Nan pieces are lovely (of course) and have definitely been shown off effectively. I've said it before, but the pastel colour palettes are gorgeous, and the charms make such a difference. Keep up the good work! :)
Wonderful collection of pages you created after an afternoons playtime.
ReplyDeleteWhat very pretty designs Jo, I like all of them, difficult to pinpoint one in particular, maybe the poinsettia is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteThey all look fantastic and match their backgrounds wonderfully. Congrats on finishing them up. Mark me down for the blog hop. That's the day we leave on our vacation but we are supposed to have Wifi on the train so hopefully I can play along hopping while on the route. I'll set my post to post that morning early so that won't be a problem. Now to find a little piece to stitch up.
ReplyDeleteNice finishes! Scrapbooking is a good idea for small designs.
ReplyDeleteThe Just Nan's are all so pretty Jo! I especially love the Butterfly Rose.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the way you combine stitching and paper. It is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteVery nice finishes. Looks like a fun day.
ReplyDeleteVery busy, it's nice to be sticky instead of stitchy now and then
ReplyDeleteLovely way to finish off your smalls. Well done!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful, Jo! The little paper frames really show off your lovely stitching so nicely :)
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful ffo's.
ReplyDeleteLove how you are finishing your pieces. What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteGreat scrapbooking again - they are all so pretty with their little charms. I can see why you had to get the original one for Noah, it would be quite difficult to find an adequate replacement I think.
ReplyDeleteLovely finishes Jo
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect scrapbook, they look great! Is the book all Just Nans?
ReplyDeleteYou must have so much fun matching scrapbook papers to your stitching! That in itself is a talent! I love seeing the parade of Nans-you always have some I have never seen before!
