Here's a collage of my spooky finishes and WIPs since last Hallowe'en:
There will be three prizes this year, three gently used charts.
First chart is Hallowe'en Happiness by Sandra Cozzolino for Imaginating. That's the design right at the top of this blog post.
Second chart is Cast Your Spell by Stacy Hash. That's the design in the top left corner of the collage.
Third chart is Spooky Night by Shepherd's Bush. That's the design in the top right corner of the collage.
When you leave your comment telling me what the mystery phrase is, please include which chart you would like to try win.
People who posted a picture will get one entry for that and another chance for their guess too.
I'd like the charts to go to people who love the designs and will stitch them, so if none are to your taste, that's fine, just play for fun but don't mention a chart. Who knows, I might send you something else instead!
Don't forget, some of us are on different time zones so if you visit a blog and can't find a letter or picture yet, pop back later in the day.
The competition is open for one week closing 00.01 hours 7th November GMT.
Nice collage of spooky projects! I guess you have the most spooky projects among the bloggers I know.
ReplyDeleteHEMLOCK ROOT AND HENBANE
ReplyDelete- insanity and madness, it happens to us all!
Happy Halloween
Great spooky wall of stitching!
ReplyDeleteWhy do I feel like that should be followed by "Batman"?
Thanks for organising this, it was fun. A couple of letters still missing, but I reckon the phrase is Hemlock Root and Henbane, (which sounds like a foraged soup Heston Blumenthal would rustle up)
I'll pass on the charts if you don't mind, because I know I wouldn't stitch them
Very cool hop and almost everyone had their letters up. Enough I think for me to guess "Hemlock Root and Henbane" for the phrase. Love your Halloween stitching! I need to do more next year for sure.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all your wonderful Halloween designs. I hope your Halloween is just the best!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love all of your Halloween pieces Jo. That was a hard one. Hemlock Root & Henbane. (I hope)
ReplyDeleteLinda
Happy Halloween Jo!
ReplyDeleteGreat to see all your Halloween stitching!
Love the little cats too!
I’m off to visit now.

I am at home now! I am going to visit the blogs!
ReplyDeleteI have visited the blogs but I don´t know what the mystery phrase is!
ReplyDeleteI will try next year!!
LOL
Love all your stitching! My guess is "Hemlock root & Henbane" for the mystery phrase! Thanks again for hosting! This was fun!
ReplyDeleteSo very many Halloween stitches! And of course they all look marvelous. :)
ReplyDeleteHEMLOCK ROOT & HENBANE ... and Happy Halloween to you! Thanks for organizing the hop, it was a lot of fun! And a great thing to do while waiting for the next trick or treater to ring my doorbell. I'd like to be in the running for Halloween Happiness (probably along with everybody else) - thanks for the chance!
You had a productive year, Halloween-wise!
ReplyDeleteAs for the contest: Hemlock & Henbane. Thanks for letting me participate, it was lots of fun. If I'm one of the lucky winners, I'd like the Cast Your Spell chart.
Another great hop, ma'am! I hope you're not in a candy coma right now. Or maybe that's the best part. And I have the answer! HONEYSUCKLE and HOLLYHOCKS
ReplyDeleteGosh, that's not very Hallowe'eny.
Maybe it's Hemlock Root & Henbane instead. I cannot seem to get it out my head that it's not henbit (nothing at all to do with Hallowe'en) but I've never heard of henbane before (nightshade, yes)!
Please put me in the cauldron for Hallowe'en Happiness! I love that design.
Uff, I made it through all the blog hop posts. So much fun again.
ReplyDeleteThe phrase that I got is: Hemlock Root & Henbane. But I'm not really sure if Hemlock root is written as one word or two words.
I always love to see your mosaics and this one is a nice composition because of the fabric colours.
Hi! Back from my Halloween tour, great visits, fun pics, lovely stitchings, new blogs, and this "Hemlock root & henbane" mysterious phrase as I had no idea what was hemlock and henbane! Now I know! I got hemlock in the garden I believe or something which looks like! And henbane is really pretty. My choose for the chart is Halloween Happiness by S. Cozzolino. Thank you for organizing such a great event. Love
ReplyDeleteHi Jo
ReplyDeleteThat was so cool. I love the Halloween Blog Hop.
The phrase I got was "Hemlock Root & Henbane" I had to look up what Henbane was LOL!
If I am lucky enough to win I would love Halloween Happiness. I admired your wip so much. Thank you stunner
xoxo Alicia
Thanks for hosting the blog hop Jo!
ReplyDeleteThe phrase is "Hemlock Root & Henbane". Cheers!
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting this fun blog hop. It was my first one and I found (and noted) several new to me blogs. The mystery phrase is "Hemlock Root & Henbane". I really like the Spooky Night pattern by Shepherd's Bush if I were to win.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for hosting this event.
Great Halloween blog hop once again! I must say I got confused with the letters as I wasn't sure what I was spelling (being a non-native speaker) so I had to look HEMLOCK ROOT & HENBANE up to see what it is. Thank you for teaching me a new word!LOL! If I win I'd love the Halloween Happiness pattern. As Halloween is not celebrated here I haven't got any stitched pieces. I only show some Halloween things (pumpkin, carving tools, a little witch and stickers) to my pupils and we draw a haunted house. Well who knows till next year I might have my own stitched piece and might take part in the blog hop you will organize next year too! Thanks for the fun. AriadnefromGreece!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog hops. I'm going now to hop through the list. Love your Halloween stitching!! Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteOkay I have collected the letters. Helmock Root & Henbane. Had to goggle henbane. Interesting. Thanks for the education. I would love to stitch 1 or 3. Thanks so much for hosting. It really is so much fun.
ReplyDeleteThe phrase is Hemlock root & Henbane. I would like to win the Spooky Night chart.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the fun!
Lovely Halloween designs. It would be hard to choose a favourite from them. Will come back later with the mystery phrase.
ReplyDeleteMy answer for the mystery phrase is:
ReplyDeleteHemlock root & henbane.

I have had great fun visiting all the spooky blogs. The phrase is hemlock root &henbane.I won’t specify a chart I’d like to win because I have stuff I want to complete and I don’t want one of those great charts languishing in my stash. Thanks for organising this Jo,it is lovely to visit other stitchers’ blogs and have extra fun too.
ReplyDeleteLovely Halloween stitching Jo, lots of interesting designs. I was away half the week so have just finished hopping about the posts and letters. The mystery phrase is Hemlock root & Henbane. I also discovered a few new interesting blogs.
ReplyDeleteFinally got back to reading the missing blogs... "Hemlock Root & Henbane"
