For newbies, this is my first year long SAL. Click on the picture above for the full details.
We will be posting and linking up on the 15th of each month, because it is 2015. Should be easy to remember.

Elizabeth Shephard by Scarlet Letter - a gift from Nicola:
stitched on 30 count linen
Mail Art based on Primitive Hare's Hallowe'en Town
stitched over 1 on 32 count Cognac linen
Book of Spells
stitched on 40 count Jewel Butterbeer gifted fabric
Gifts received this month included an RAK of this awesome piece of fabric from Rachel. I tried photographing it and it's just impossible to get the colours right, so I'm using the stock photo from Crafty Kitten's website:
Autumnal Woodland
32 count Belfast
My plan is to stitch at least one of the Ink Circles' Hallowe'en Mandalas on it. The Ghosts will look great stitched in white.
My other gift was a Thank You from Lisa for sending her the issue of Cross Stitch Collection she appeared in:
I am using the project bag to house my Plum Street Samplers 12 Days of Christmas.
So far the frogs have stayed on the outside of the bag!
And now over to you - Here is the place for you to link up so we can see what Gifted Gorgeousness you have been stitching so far this year. Please use your name or your blog name in the field NOT the words "November Update" so I can easily see who has linked up this month.
And link to the actual post, not just your blog. People are still getting this wrong! It is easier if you copy and paste the link, rather than typing freehand.
Thank you. I can amend links if you make a boo-boo though.

Finally, it's time to sign up for the final blog hop of the year - The Advent Calendar. Same format as last year - sign up and be allocated a date. Post a stitched Christmas picture on your date plus a comment about the festive season. You can email me now if you like stating if you have a preference for an early date or later in the month or any dates you can't do.
Great stitching and gifts Jo. I love the colour of that linen
ReplyDeleteI love your mail art - did it arrive through the post ok or was it in an envelope :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful stitching, and lovely gifts! I just linked up :D
ReplyDeleteLovely stitching Jo. That fabric is really pretty.
ReplyDeleteLinda
I didn't have any stitching to show last month, so I am glad that I made the link up this month! Your projects are looking terrific. How will the "Book of Spells" be finished? Does it wrap around a form like a book cover -or- is it to be framed? (A curious mind would like to know.) Looking forward to the Advent Calendar!
ReplyDeleteI dunno, Jo; I think a piece of fabric called "Autumnal Woodland" needs some squirrels! Mail art is so fun. If only I were a bit faster and more focused. :) Glad the frogs have stayed outside the bag. Maybe that's the secret! Give them a place to be so they don't show up unexpectedly.
ReplyDeletewishful thinking
Here's hoping just my GG post showed up. Love the fabric and yeah, I can see ghosts on it in white. The fabric is definitely Autumn-y! Great stitching on all your projects, finished and not so finished!
ReplyDeleteYay, finally managed to remember to post this month! You have worked on a great bunch of projects this month.
ReplyDeleteVery nice stitching and very nice gifts! Love the colors in the fabric.
ReplyDeleteBook of Spells looks almost finished, maybe next year for me. The Quaker design is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove that fabric! Great progress on all your projects.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful stitching and I love that fabric.
ReplyDeleteYou have such lovely projects - Scarlet Letter is my favourite, and it's looking great. That Woodland fabric is magic - can't wait to see what you use it for! Looking forward to seeing all the other reports.
ReplyDeleteThink I just lost my comment. Here goes again (it won't be the same as the last one - my short term memory is not as good as it could be!) Your projects are lovely, Jo. I particularly love the Scarlet Letter - it is already looking great. The Woodland fabric is striking. I'm keen to see what you use it for. I'm looking forward to browsing through the other reports.
ReplyDeleteHow do I sign up for the Advent bloghop thing?
I just love that fabric! Wow the colours are gorgeous :o)
ReplyDeleteLoving your gifts! That mail art is just gorgeous. I do hope those frogs don't sneak into your project bag!! :o)

ReplyDeleteBook of Spells will soon be finished .... how exciting.
ReplyDeleteJo I seem to have lost track of the weeks & months lately... I have every intention of being part of GG but it just doesn't work out for me... never mind, I'll join in sometime soon!
ReplyDeleteGreat progress on your lovely works, hope the frogs won't be too much facetious. xxx
ReplyDeleteI love that fabric! So glad it will be put to good use.
ReplyDeleteThe Mail Art looks amazing.
I have somehow overcome my reluctance to blog and added my link to the post.
ReplyDeleteWell, I got my post finally done. Not as late this month! (I have an excuse...was out of town, visiting my SIL who has terminal cancer. It's a sad time.) You are progressing nicely on your Quaker piece. I saw that Lisa made you the project bag. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI will be back with a post but only very intermittent Internet when I walk up to the coffee shop (costing a fortune to read emails!) while I'm in Enterprise, OR, to where the Wyoming Cowboys have moved! NO service on my phone either!
ReplyDeleteI love all you progress...and that fabric you got is amazing, I can already see those ghosts on there!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I will get an actual post up this month, but I'll try in the weekend. In that case wI'll be back again, I just wanted to comment on your beautiful everything before I forget completely :)
loving your pogress.. and glad I made it in time for this month.. heehee.. ;)
