Stitch from Stash is hosted by Mel from Epic Stitching
Essentially the idea behind Stitch from Stash is that we are limited to spending US$25 (or £15) per month. There are various exemptions (Birthday money, existing mag subs, clubs etc) but the idea is not to try and pervert the rules and to stitch some of that stash! I will be posting on or around the 20th of each month because that is when I get paid!

WIPs and UFOs worked on: A Mon Ami Pierre Noel Blanc, Primitive Hare Spooky Countdown, The Little Stitcher 12 Days of Christmas.
Somebunny to Love - Bathtime Bunny
(cover kit from WOCS 213)
Just Nan - Winter Typography
There was a little frogging action on this one, when I came to add the bird I realised that I had stitched the large Winter one row too low so the mittens and the corner motif came out and were re-stitched)
A Mon Ami Pierre - Noel Blanc
I have been alternating between the long straight rows of deer and the floral border to the left of him.
Primitive Hare - Spooky Countdown
Giovanna and I have stitched the same motif this week and will do for the next five weeks!
Finally, I am taking sign-ups for the Easter Treasure Hunt Blog Hop, click on the Bunny on the right hand side bar for more details.
Super sweet stitching..
ReplyDeleteBig hugs x
Great job sticking to your stash!
ReplyDeleteWell done on SFS.
ReplyDeleteNoel is looking really beautiful.
Love how you finished the witch. And everything else is great too - but seeing the AMAP makes me extra sad about the news that the designer is retiring. She stopped going to the Paris show a couple of years ago, but before that her wonderful model-filled stand was always one of my longest visits and a feast for the eyes. It's just too sick that she has to fold to piracy...
ReplyDeleteYou have been stitching a lot from stash this month. Great success on the challenge. And such lovely pieces. I particularly love the spring witch by The Snowflower Diaries.
ReplyDeleteYou are doing so well Jo xx
ReplyDeleteStill going well with the budget Jo!

ReplyDeleteSomebunny looks so cute =)))) congrats on your finishes :D
ReplyDeleteAnd well done with your budget goal ;)
Jo, I really admire how you do so much beautiful seasonal stitching all year round!!! I'd love to actually get some ornaments done in time for next Christmas, but once the holiday's over, I just can't seem to get in the mood :( Does a rotation help? I'd greatly appreciate any tips! ;)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous stitching Jo. Well done on SFS.
ReplyDeleteMan you are so good with your budget. If I was in this I would have already blown the entire years budget by now. I'm easily distracted by sparkly things and sales!!
ReplyDeleteI love the colours on Winter Typography, sorry to hear about the frog action on it though. Great updates on all your wips, they look fantastic!
