Apart from a short break to stitch the Living on the Rainbow Fall Bookshelf, I focused entirely on Mirabilia's Fairy Idyll in September. Specifically the over one skin for her face and arm:

September Stitching
Isn't she beautiful?
She started the month looking like this:
And finished like this:
stitched on 32 count Vinyard Murano from Crafty Kitten
And here's the area I was working on, I started with her hair and floral crown. Then started on the skin which seemed never ending so I alternated with some of the gold dress as well.
My evening project was Annie Beez's 12 Days of Christmas Stocking and here's Day 9:
stitched on 28 count Black Jobelan
Wow your work on Fairy Idyll is spectacular! I love how the decoration on the top stitched up. It looks so realistic. Great choice on the fabric too, it's perfect. I'll be watching for your progress on this, it's just stunning!

ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! Warm greetings from Montreal, Canada.
ReplyDeleteFairy Idyll is so beautiful and your fabric choice is perfect! Over one skin is so much work but it looks amazing in the end.
ReplyDeleteWow, that was some serious progress on Fairy Idyll! Great job, she looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteShe's beautiful, so delicate. Well done on number 9
ReplyDeleteShe is really coming along nicely. Very pretty. I wouldn't want to work on the dark one at night, my eyes no longer can do that. I've been enjoying visiting everyone on my blog list to catch up; as it's been too many months since I've blogged. It feels good to get back into it.

There is something delightful about draped fabric in cross stitches.
