Ornament SAL April Update

Stitching Lotus Ornament SAL

This is the Ornament SAL hosted by Stitching Lotus

I have three different ornament challenges running this year, the JBW Alphabet Cat stitched in a different colour scheme each month, the Dragon Dreams 12 Dragonlets of Christmas, a FB exclusive and the Hallowe'en SAL blog.

I chose Chocolate as my theme for April and added a cute Easter Egg charm:

I posted the photo of all four kitty ornies so far on the JBW Facebook page and got an email from Judy Whitman herself saying how much she liked them.  It's always nice to have contact with the designers and show them how you've stitched their work.  I'm so happy that the internet has made this possible.  If you're thinking about sending a designer a photo of your work then do it, they love feeling appreciated!

Here is the fourth Dragon Dreams FB exclusive Dragonlet of Christmas with his Four Calling Collie Birds.  A Collie Bird being a blackbird.

The choice for the Hallowe'en SAL was a free choice this month and unfortunately I have just run out of time!  I've been stitching Easter themed items and prizes for my Giveaway so I think I'll skip April and dive straight into May's choice which is Ghosts.  Sunflower Diaries has designed a nice little ghost which I may stitch.

Short post because I had some treatment at the dentist which necessitated IV sedation for the second time in two weeks and I'm quite drained so off for an early night.

Finally Ziggyeor posted a great link about things that make her go squeeeeee or as she puts it, do a Kermit Flail!  Check this post and the link to her Pinterest Board.  If you Fail to Flail at at least 50% of the pinned items then you are not a Geek and can't play in our Geek Closet!  But you can still come share the stitching,  Geeks are nice like that.

Gorgeous stitching as always Jo - I must remember to stitch those little dragons they are too cute - but as always the want to stitch and WIP list keeps getting longer with no progress on the finishes!

You already know I love your finishes - this comment is to wish you well after your dental distress and a quick recovery from the sedative. Hopefully it will leave your body quickly and you'll feel better than ever!

Ahhaha love you Jo thanks for stopping by the blog. I finally posted my scrapbook page from last night on that post.
Love your ornaments! I'm still working on bookmarks for people! I need to mail Emily's off.
Oh goodness I hope your dental work is over and you're back to yourself now!

Lol, maybe it's just me, but the dragon seems to be a little... intimidated by the birds XD So very cute nevertheless!

Your CAT is great in Chocolate. I have stitched this one also, it is fun to see your color choices each month.
